House of Dionysus Productions Inc. is Vancouver’s newest entertainment firm, specializing in marketing, event promotion, and talent management. The company is comprised of Paul and Sukhi, 2 young professionals born and raised in British Columbia. Although not actually related, these young men have become brothers in the true sense of the word, having a genuine respect for one another and a bond even thicker than blood. They met each other while studying at University of British Columbia, and formed a strong relationship that has lasted for years. By complimenting one another’s strengths and moving forward as one, they are collaborating to take over Vancouver’s Nightlife experience. These young entrepreneurs are committed to creating a responsible atmosphere, adding the best names in the entertainment industry, and catering to the needs and wants of the community around them in order to connect todays generations with their cultural roots while taking Canada’s cultural mosaic to new heights. Together the boys of HOD Productions are creating something truly miraculous that this city has yet to see.
HOD Productions is a firm believer of giving back to the community, and with this mandate is working closely with BC Children’s Hospital foundation to create a profound and lasting partnership that will leave a legacy for years to come. With two partners in the company having complicated births, they literally owe their lives to BC Children’s Hospital, and want to give back as much as they can.
Paul Aulakh (Director/Owner)
Paul Aulakh is a well known individual in the Vancouver and UBC community, having been very involves in the Vancouver South Asian community and contributing greatly to the betterment of University Life. A Bachelor’s of Commerce graduate from Sauder School of Business at UBC, this young man had been a leader among his peers as a representative in the UBC Senate, and executive in the Commerce Undergraduate Society, and as a past president of the UBC Bhangra Club. Beyond being the past Director of Marketing for Gold’s Gym BC, Paul has had extensive experience in organizing numerous charity events, including the Bhangra Club’s annual “Exhibition India” Culture Show and “Nach for the Cause” Formal, as well as being a participant in 2008’s first national “5 Days for the Homeless” campaign to raise awareness for youth homeless. He has helped raise over $10,000 annually towards various charities such as Covenant House, the BC Children Hospital Foundation and the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, and will be able to use his experience and marketing knowledge towards creating unique and entertaining events in the future.
Sukhi Walia (Director/Owner)
Sukhi Walia is a multi talented performer who is very well known around Vancouver for his talent in music, skill in football, and pursuit in knowledge. After completing his Associates of Science Degree and playing Varsity Football for UBC, he is now continuing his studies towards his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management; Sukhi has proven to himself and others that there is no limit of success in any field. This young man has kept himself on top of his various priorities and has not only balanced but also always excelled in each one. Sukhi recently has volunteers for the UBC Bhangra Club’s annual Exhibition India Culture Show, and has helped in raising money for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Sukhi is a talented and resourceful young artist, and is being recognized a Vancouver’s strongest upcoming musical sensations. As an artist and a musician, Sukhi ahs always had a vision of a perfect night of entertainment. By creating a Night that goes above and beyond the crowd’s expectations and lasting memories for everyone to look back fondly upon, Sukhi is pursuing his dream in throwing the best shows in town.
